Great Southern Railway run the Indian Pacific train once or twice each week from
Perth to Sydney via Adelaide. The train departs East Perth Terminal around midday
(11:55am) each Wednesday and Sunday, travels for two days before arriving at
Adelaide Keswick Terminal early each Friday and Tuesday morning (7:20am). There
is an optional off-train tour available in Kalgoorlie en-route.
TransWA operates the Australind train between Perth and Bunbury. This train
departs Perth station twice each day, once in the morning and once in the late
afternoon, and travels for about two and a half hours before arriving in Bunbury.
TransWA operate regular bus services from East Perth Terminal to Augusta and
Pemberton, calling at Dunsborough on the way. The journey takes about four and a
half hours.
TransWA operate the Prospector train services from East Perth Terminal to
Kalgoorlie. At Kalgoorlie you can change to aconnecting TransWA bus service to
Esperance. The journey takes about twelve hours.
TransWA operate Australias newest and fastest passenger train on the Perth to
Kalgoorlie route. Operating at up to 160Km/h, the Prospector operates one or two
services each day from East Perth Terminal. The train takes around 6 and three-
quarter hours to make the journey.
Perth domestic airport terminal is connected to Perth city by regular bus services
that operate every 15 to 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 to 25 minutes.
