How to Travel with Metro Tasmania

Metro Tasmania buses are un-reserved 'turn up and go' services. Fares are covered by the

GreenCard

system.

You must have a Greencard to ride. You can apply for a Greencard online or at Metro agents in Tasmania. When boarding your bus, just look for the validator at the entrance. If you do not tap on when boarding your bus you may be fined for travelling without a ticket. You do not need to tap off.
